Congrationaltions to Dr. George Thomas from our group for winning the Lewy Body UK award for best research paper published in 2023 or 2024 by an Early Career Researcher in the field of Lewy body disease/Parkinson’s disease!
The paper examined the longitudinal associations of iron build-up (measured using quantitative susceptibility mapping or “QSM”) and cognition in the brain of people with Parkinson’s.
